Everyone looks at their mother in a different way, but most would agree that moms take on many different roles. Moms are shoulders to cry on, best friends to laugh with, teachers that hold us accountable, and so much more. Because our mothers have so many roles and play such a key part in our lives, they deserve a day dedicated to them!
Mother’s Day has been nationally recognized in the United States since President Woodrow Wilson’s term in office. However, some historians believe that the ancient Greeks started celebrating mothers long ago. Regardless of who started the celebration, it is our job to continue it.
